Middle School Visit

Some classmates and I went to visit the middle school that we will be working in for the next few weeks. To say the least, I was very impressed with the school!! It is an arts based school, therefore they have a lot of extra curricular classes that I think add to the students day! Such as dance, and theatre! When I was in middle school we were lucky if we got to spend a couple extra mintues in recess, much less go to dance class? I am very exicited to start observing in this school and hope to learn a lot for the future!

Thoughts on upcoming visit....

On Thursday we will all be sent out into the public shools, I am going to a local middle school to observe a certain class for an education class. The class' major focus is technology in education, which is fabulous becuase I often find myself very technology illiterate. I am very exicited about going to the school, even though I am an elementary education major (2-6) I think seeing middle schoolers in action will be fun! The information concerning the visit to be posted soon!
